In staying with my crazy addiction to being frugal, I am continuing to play what I call "the CVS game". I enjoy seeing just how much I can get for as little out of pocket money I can. I combine sales, coupons, and Extra Care Buck to work in my favor. I can't take all of the credit, I do read a blog that does a lot of the work for me, www.WickedCoolDeals.com, however I do also go through the coupons on my own and find a few additional deals each week.
A while back I made a great trip to CVS where I walked away with 15 items for only $3.32. I I was impressed with that trip...until Sobe Waters went on sale 2 weeks ago. I managed to pick up 22 Sobe Life Waters for only $1.54 (just paid tax). I think that this week, I have truly outdone myself...I bought 15 items for only $0.10. Now, we're not talking about 15 junk items, or clearance priced things...I'm talking about food and household items that I am using everyday. This week I bought, 4 boxes of Post cereal, 1 gal of milk, Clorox Bleach, 2 tubs of Clorox Wipes, 2 packages of Oreo Cookies, 2 tubes of Colgate Toothpaste, a 4-pack of rechargeable Energizer Batteries, and 2 small Halloween pumpkin decorations.
