Just in time for Thanksgiving, I have some of our recent Thanksgiving craft projects. As I stated in my recent posts...I'm a bit in love with paper plate crafts lately, it's just about all we've been doing here...although the kids don't seem to mind. Both of these projects were inspired by ideas on
Oriental Trading, they can be seen
here and
here. All I used for both crafts were plain white paper plates and construction paper...much cheaper than buying the actual kits online.

We also attempted to have a "Thanksgiving Feast" at lunchtime today. Now, it was with all toddlers, so the food choices were toddler friendly....but overall I think it went well. We had Chicken Nuggets (because I wasn't cooking an entire turkey for lunchtime), Mashed Potatoes, Steamed Carrots, Cranberry Sauce, and Corn Bread (which the kids and I baked this morning). Besides the Chicken Nuggets, I think the Steamed Carrots ant the Cranberry Sauce were the favorites, Corn Bread was another strong contender....poor Mashed Potatoes were found to be uninteresting and were by far the least favorite food of the plate. The toddlers were babies last year, and although I tried...the menu was unappetizing to anyone over the age of 5. This year's lunchtime "Thanksgiving Feast" was a far better menu from last year's event, which consisted of Chicken Nuggets, Tater Tots, Carrot Sticks, Dried Cranberries, and Corn Bread.
